12/16/20 - Strongly Against Resort Expansion/Glamping in Princeville
Update on Makai Woods Proposed Resort Expansion/”Glamping”

Aloha Princeville Homeowners,

SOS Hui received the revised design plans for the Makai Woods links 1-3 resort expansion from several concerned citizens. You can view them at SOSHui.org.

Princeville 1 Homeowners, please register by 3:45pm Thursday for the PHCA Board Meeting (via Zoom) scheduled for 4-6pm HST.  The agenda DOES include an update on the Starwood Capital/East West Partners’ development plans AND the results of the Survey. You can see the full agenda and register for the meeting by logging in at http://www.princevillecommunity.com.

Anyone can send an email to Maylette Garces, Princeville General Manager (maylette@princevillecommunity.com) for the PHCA Board of Directors asking that they NOT support Starwood Capital/East West Partners’ glamping development plans. Here’s a sample letter. You can add your own name(s), address, modify the content and send from your email application. 4 CLICKS and it’s ON its WAY!

Leaving a message for the Board directly or on voicemail is also good! (808) 826-6687.

The PHCA Board is Princeville’s first line of defense against ANY developer wishing to destroy our treasured green space in the name of more profit. Once these spaces are gone, there are no more; there’s no chance to recover them.

From Princeville’s CC&Rs, the Association was established “for the purpose of enhancing and protecting the value, desirability and attractiveness of the land.” This proposed development doesn’t protect the land or the owners’ interests.

Please continue to help preserve the golf courses as green space by making your position known, and share this email with other concerned friends and neighbors.

Mahalo nui loa,
SOS Hui.
